St Ives Rugby Club had its birth in April 1957 when “a motley team of 12 year olds trooped onto the field to inaugurate the Saints tradition”.

The intervening years have seen a remarkable transformation from this humble beginning. The Mighty Saints have separate junior and senior operations with nearly 200 Junior players and 80 Senior Players, starting at U5’s all the way through to our colts and senior players.

St Ives Junior Rugby Club has a friendly village club atmosphere with a strong focus on fitness, fun, family and friendship through rugby.

​

Our home ground at Hassall Park, St Ives, has a well equipped clubhouse, canteen, bar and two well maintained playing fields. 

​

The club regularly links up with Legends Rugby, Gordon Rugby, Northern Saints and NSW Rugby amongst others to run engaging training programs for players, coaches, support staff & referees.  

​

We offer pathways to transition players through minis, juniors, colts and senior grade. We are also very encouraging of pathway opportunities for talented players to represent the Gordon district and beyond.

Our U14’s have a long history of touring to NZ, which is a highlight for most players. We are very welcoming of all players, volunteers and supporters.
